This single-family house with an apartment in the basement was designed to fit the hillside location in Stavanger, Norway, its views and orientation. The open planing and gallery-level secure the views over the fjord from nearly every space. The roof terrace opens to a secondary living area and jacuzzy pool with panoramic views. The needs of the steady growing family were given special focus. A communal geothermal heat pump system provide for the under floor heating.
