The 6 storey tall storage building, the “Palettenhaus” is situated on the grounds of the former Sarotti factory in Berlin – Tempelhof. Here one full floor was built out to be shared by an architectural practice and a herbal liquor manufacturer. The generosity of this industrial space was enhanced through the use of glass elements as well as surface-mounting of heating pipes and electrical cables. The existing flooring was sealed by means of a transparent coat of epoxide.
